Last weekend I went to a macaron class at the Sherwood Cookery School. This was a Christmas gift from my Brother and Sister In Law and I was really excited about it, I had had a go at making these before but I couldn’t quite get them right.
To begin with our tutor ran through a demonstration of how to make macarons. We were then let loose on making our own! Our tutor was there to offer a helping hand or advice if we needed it.
I made these gorgeous pink macarons with strawberry buttercream.
The Sherwood Cookery School offer a huge range of classes and I would definitely go back again. The macaron class was really well run and I really enjoyed myself. The macarons were pretty scrumptious too.
